Aquaculture in Transition: From Stability to Accelerated Growth
The Russian aquaculture industry is entering a new phase—moving from adaptation to strategic, scalable growth. While the past few years focused on solving isolated challenges like equipment replacement, feed access, and logistics, the sector now turns to larger questions of technological sovereignty, market expansion, and sustainable demand.

This evolution is increasingly shaped by international cooperation. In particular, Turkish companies—renowned for their expertise in aquatic feed, sustainable farming systems, and cost-effective engineering—are emerging as vital partners in building resilient supply chains and introducing cutting-edge technology to Russian enterprises. At AQUA FARM GLOBAL, this potential for Russo-Turkish collaboration takes center stage in a practical, forward-looking context.

Infrastructure and Sales Ecosystem
The exhibition will feature a fully operational recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) with live fish under natural biological load at its core. Surrounding this demonstration will be booths from fish farming operations and suppliers of equipment, feed, veterinary solutions, seed material, IT, and advanced aquaculture services.

Turkish exhibitors such as Altınbilek and Derin Su Ürünleri will present their solutions alongside Russian, Finnish, Belarusian, and other international companies. Their presence emphasizes the importance of Turkish innovation in water quality management, hatchery automation, and aquafeed formulation, offering sustainable and scalable solutions to regional and global challenges.

Strategic Platform with Long-Term Impact
One of AQUA FARM GLOBAL’s unique strengths lies in its full integration into the well-established Seafood Expo Russia, now in its eighth year. This gives exhibitors immediate access to a robust network of professional seafood buyers from across Russia and Eurasia.

Thanks to this synergy, Turkish companies can directly reach new markets while forming partnerships with Russian producers for joint development, investment, and co-production. The presence of both long-standing and first-time exhibitors from Turkey reflects the country’s expanding role in shaping the region’s aquaculture future.

Strong Partnerships, Real Solutions
Participants include well-known Russian and international firms such as Inarctica, Aquaculture Group, Algotek, Agrofid, Eco Resource, Vesta, Technex, Famsun, and others. New exhibitors like Neyma, Ikorium, Triton (Dabie Hatchery), and trout farm Kintizma from Russia, along with Turkish leaders like Altınbilek and Derin Su Ürünleri, will highlight the cross-border potential for collaboration.

This diversity will provide a realistic snapshot of the industry and its prospects while fostering direct engagement between aquaculture producers, technologists, biologists, investors, and distributors.

Business Intelligence and Technology Transfer
The business program will cover genetics, feed innovation, equipment modernization, production economics, export strategy, and consumer demand. Experts from Russia, Turkey, China, India, Vietnam, and beyond will present advanced case studies and develop sustainable growth models that respond to emerging global and regional challenges.

“Together with industry professionals, scientists, and international associations, we are shaping this event to reflect both current realities and the emerging trends of global aquaculture,” said Ivan Fetisov, CEO of event organizer Expo Solutions Group. “Our active collaboration with Turkish companies and other international players ensures AQUA FARM GLOBAL evolves beyond a trade fair—into a platform where concrete solutions are designed and deployed.”

Organizers are inviting aquaculture and mariculture professionals to submit proposals and topic ideas to ensure meaningful dialogue and actionable outcomes.

AQUA FARM GLOBAL will take place at the Expoforum Convention & Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg, October 22–24, as part of the 8th Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia.
