Driving International Participation
The 16 th edition of Indo Fisheries Expo & Forum, a comprehensive exhibition and forum on fisheries and aquaculture technology—including farming, feed, seeds, health, cold storage, and food processing—will be held alongside Indo Livestock, Indo Feed, Indo Dairy, Indo Agrotech, and Indo Vet 2026 Expo & Forum on 16 – 18 June 2026 at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), PIK 2, Tangerang, Indonesia. Participation in Singapore serves as a strategic effort to reach potential exhibitors from various countries.
Through Indo Fisheries, Napindo is committed to positioning Indonesia as a central meeting hub for the fisheries and aquaculture industry. “We aim to strengthen food security and foster the growth of Indonesia’s marine and fisheries sector on a global scale,” said Lisa Rusli, Asst. Indonesia’s Fisheries Sector Shows Positive Trend
The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries continues to consistently implement the concept of sustainable blue food through the development of aquaculture, one of which is in Batam, Riau Islands Province. Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, emphasized Indonesia’s commitment to making blue food a key driver of national food security.
Thanks to modern aquaculture technology, Indonesia’s fisheries sector has shown significant progress, including the development of grouper cultivation using water recirculation technology. This diversification of fish species not only strengthens self-sufficiency in protein-based food but also meets the nutritional needs of the community. These efforts are increasingly relevant given the positive contribution of the fisheries sector to Indonesia’s overall economic performance.
The Indo Fisheries 2026 exhibition is expected to serve as a platform to stimulate further growth in the fisheries sector. Over three days, the exhibition will bring together more than 600 participants from 40 countries, including 12 national pavilions. With a target of 20,000 visitors, the event will gather industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, distributors, academics, researchers, and other stakeholders under one roof to collaborate and network.
